Smells Like Grunge back at the Kelsey Theater!

Smells Like Grunge is coming back August 26!  This show will be very special because it will be “Kurt’s” (Justin’s) last show with Smells Like Grunge, but the band will not be going away.  It’s going to be a sellout as usual – Advance tickets are only $12 and you can get them by CLICKING HERE.


The Days Between

Grateful Dead fans know that August 1 to August 9 is known as “The Days Between” – since Jerry Garcia was born on August 1 and died August 9.  This year’s North County celebrations of Jerry’s life starts on Sunday with an all day party at Guanabanas, with Girl Jerry, Reflections, and Unlimited Devotion playing along with a few more bands Grateful Dead tunes.  Watch this space for more shows coming up!


Jupiter Music Forecast

JP Soars and the Red Hots gets things going tonight – Thursday – at Double Roads with some red hot Blues!  Up at the Square Grouper it’s Steeltown Religion Country/Rock, and Burnt Biscuit starts a 3-day stay at Uncle Mick’s. On Friday Average Joe’s welcomes Stone Throw, the West King String Band will be playing Bluegrass Jams at Guanabanas, Future Prezidents take the stage at Harbourside, the String Assassins entertain for dinner at Leftovers, the Dog Hearts debut at Maxi’s, The Andrew Morris Bands brings Country music to Double Roads, and Rogue Theory rocks out at the Square Grouper.

Saturday highlights include a Rockabilly band – the Whiskey Moon Travelers – at Double Roads, Iron Horse at Guanabanas, Axcents at Average Joe’s, and Spred the Dub band stopping by the Square Grouper.

Blues Alert for North County!

Wow, there’s a lot of Blues on tap for this Memorial Day weekend from Jupiter to Singer Island!  Rob Arenth starts the weekend off at the Square Grouper Friday afternoon before heading to the Pirate’s Well in Lake Park.  Friday night’s big event will be at Double Roads Tavern with the Big City Blues Band headlining a Music Unites Us Concert.  Jay Stollman will be playing at Leftovers for dinner, the JL Fulks Band will be at Maxi’s, and the Joey Tenuto Band will be at the Seaside Bar in Singer Island.

On Saturday night Big Vince and the Phat Cats keeps it going with plenty of Blues to celebrate Double Roads’ 3-year Anniversary!

Tickets only $40 to support this great charity!


A Big Night in Jupiter!

Check out this lineup in Jupiter tonight:  JL Fulks (Blues) at Leftovers, Crazy Fingers (Tribute – Grateful Dead) at Maxi’s, the Wildfire Band (Rock) at Harbourside, Jeff Prine (Blues/Jazz) early and then The Shareholders (Danceable Classic Rock) at Double Roads, and Resinated (Reggae) at Guanabanas!


North County Rocks!

Looking for some good old Rock bands tonight?  Check out Solstice Reign at Pirate’s Well in Lake Park, Twisted Tapestry at Downtown at the Gardens, Konnected at Average Joe’s in Jupiter!

Well what about Country?  There’s plenty – Jupiter has Thunder Road at Uncle Mick’s, Emily Brooke at the Square Grouper, the Gardens has the Bron Burbank Band at the Crazy Horse, and Singer Island has the Nash Carey Band at the Seaside Bar.

Jupiter’s Most Irish Live Music Joint?

Uncle Mick’s?  They’ve got the Thunder Road Band playing tonight.  The Square Grouper?  Wonderama.  Guanabana’s?  Reggae bands No Need and Resinated.  OK, how about Maxi’s?  They’ve got The Helmsmen.  Harbourside has 33 Years, and Average Joe’s has NIXX.

That leaves Double Roads Tavern!  Yes, Double Roads will have Andrew Morris at 4:30, then Little Ed and the Blues Imperials followed by Big Vince and the Phat Cats at 8:30 and The Shareholders at 10:30 so that settles it!
