It’s another big weekend for Live Music coming up in north county! Double Roads gets things going on Thursday night with Blues from George Lilly and the Going Broke Half Fast Allstars (and back Friday as well) after Pam and Dave for dinnertime. Down in Lake Park it’s Open Mic Night at the Brewhouse Gallery.
Friday it’s more Blues again at Double Roads with Jay Stollman for Happy Hour, and then the Shareholders playing Blues and Classic Rock Saturday night.
Friday Reggae choices include Fresh Catch at the Square Grouper, Making Faces at Harbourside, and the Helmsmen at Maxi’s. Rock choices are Bitter SweetHeart at Average Joe’s, Dreams – an Allman Brothers Tribute band at Guanabanas, Groove Merchant Pop/Rock at Downtown, Solstice Reign at the Crazy Horse, and George Manosis Acoustic Rock at Leftovers. Country Music? Fonda Cash at the Seaspray Inn early evening and Thunder Road at Uncle Mick’s later on. Indie Folk Rock? Zack Jones at the Brewhouse. Alternative/Grunge? The Quax at Swamp Grass Willy’s.
Other Saturday picks include Andrew Morris back at the Square Grouper and Grateful Dead Tribute Bands at Maxi’s (Crazy Fingers) and Guanabanas (Unlimited Devotion). There’s also a Vanilla Ice Block Party at Dirty Martini at Downtown at the Gardens if that’s your thing!
